:Christiana POV, age 15:
So my visits to the studio became more and more frequent when I got older. I had gotten pretty darn attached to Boris and Bendy especially. They were dad's creations, and very close friends.
Despite the way he talked at times, Boris was a lot smarter then most thought, and pretty strong too. He had a big brother type of personality and would always back up Bendy, both in cartoons and in the studio.
Bendy was a lot more mischievous and impulsive, but his heart was always in the right place. And they ADORED it whenever I came into the studio. It was like a break for them to play and hang out with me as a child.
I even got to make some ideas for dad and Mister Joey for cartoons, like Bendy sneaking into heaven disguised as an angel to cause mischief or his slipping into a club to work as a DJ for money. Dad thought they were pretty good; Joey was...okay with them. I could tell he didn't care for me much for whatever reason. I don't know why, he just didn't.
It wasn't just with me personally either, it was with other kids who came to the show...which made me wonder WHY he made cartoons for kids in the first place. I guess he just liked drawing them then...
Anyway, I was heading to the studio from going to school. I wasn't exactly popular, but nor was I at the bottom either. I just count my lucky stars no one was ever bullied there, which was a rarity among schools (AN: True fact, in my middle and high school, I couldn't find anyway being bullied there. Including myself. Though maybe because both teachers AND other students could call you out on it and get you in trouble for it as a rule). As I entered, I waved at David and Percy, two of the animators, and went to where Dad's office was. "Knock knock daddy,"
"Hey sweetie, how was school?" "The same as usual," I smiled, going to see what he was working on. "A new cartoon for Bendy and Boris? What's it about?" "Eh, either Bendy goes on a adventure in the rain forest or an plan on helping wildlife,"
I thought on it a moment before saying "Why not both? Bendy can go into the rain forest, see that the wildlife there needs help, and thus assists them in having better lives," "Heh, good idea dear...''
As I watched dad get to work, I heard some noises outside. Curious, I left the room a moment and followed. I saw Bendy and Boris talking about something.
"Bendy, I dunno...you know how upset and uptight Joey can get about these things..." Boris pointed out.
"Oh come on, Boris! It's just one little prank! It won't hurt him~!" "But the last time we did it, he threatened to belt us!" "Pft...he does that Henry will be on his butt then!"
Bendy then saw me peeking around the corner and smiled, waving. "Hiya Chrissy, are you up for some good ol' mischief~?" "Oh...well," I saw Boris looked worried and asked "Well, what is the prank exactly?"
"We are going to pull the ol' 'water bucket on door' trick~" Bendy chuckled. "We all ready got it filled with water, and now all we have to do is put it over Joey's office..." "Right," I smiled. It sounded harmless enough, a little bit of water never killed anyone.
Bendy, Boris, and I headed to the door, each having some sort of role; Boris opened the door a little creak, I held Bendy up, and he placed the pail where it would go atop. "And now we wait," he snickered. "I still think it's a bad idea," Boris muttered.
"Oh what's the worse that can happen?" his friend laughed then. Trying to lighten things up as I knew he would.
"Maybe getting caught OUTSIDE of your little trick?" We all froze at Joey's voice behind us. "J-Joey hey..." Bendy laughed. "We were just doing a little joke, nothing serious..." "Bendy, how many times HAVE I SAID...No. Jokes. In the Studios....especially on me?" Joey said in a dangerous tone.
Boris and I looked at another nervously. I spoke up then, wanting to give Bendy slack for once. "Mr. Drew, it wasn't Bendy's fault...I was the one who suggested the joke. I didn't realize you'd take it this badly though...I'm sorry." I said sincerely.
"...Kid...you should be old enough to know jokes like this ARE NOT acceptable!!" Mr. Drew yelled at me, making myself and the two beside me flinch. "I mean in, all honesty, I expected this from Bendy since he's a cartoon demon, but a teenager?!"
"Okay Mr. Drew, if you honestly think teenagers never do pranks to lighten the mood a bit, you're wrong." I stated calmly. "It happens more often then-" "I don't care brat!! One more move like this and I will belt you!!''
At this, I glared. "Lay even a hand on me, I will tell my father.." I said sternly. "It was a joke, I saw you got upset, and I apologized...no need to kick up a bigger fuss then it all ready is,"
"Kick up a what?" Dad came by just now. "You're brat decided it would be okay to do this!!" Joey pointed at the bucket with water. Dad raised a brow. "Chrissy, come on, you know Joey hates that stuff.'' "Sorry dad...I didn't think he'd overreact though..." he sighed. "It's fine, it's fine...just stay at my office for now, okay?" "Okay..."
I went back followed by Bendy while Boris stayed behind to talk to dad about something. "...Thanks for not ratting me out Chrissy," Bendy said softly. "But now I got you in trouble," "Heh, like that's bothered me before," I laughed it off.
I will admit though...the fact Joey threatened to belt me was scary... I felt a small pat on the back before Bendy gave me a small hug then. I smiled, gently holding the hands hugging me around the shoulders. It felt so...warm...
I then began giggling, feeling Bendy's tail gently wiggle and tickle around my underarms and chest and rib area. "H-Hey, Bendy stop~!"
"Someone's gotta get that frown upside down~" Bendy smirked, continuing his tail tickling then. I giggled and laughed, trying my best to get away...only for Bendy to tickle me now using his fingers, which of course was even MORE ticklish! "No stop, come on~!!" I laughed, rolling out of the office chair and onto the floor, Bendy following me without much problem.
"Come on Chrissy, let's see a smile~" "Hahahahahahaha~!" I could only laugh and try to fight him off...very weakly might I add to. But none the less, he let up on me eventually, and I was able to catch my breath. I looked up, seeing him looking pleased with himself. "Happy now?" he asked. "Thanks to you, yes."
"Great...now it's my turn~" I pounced onto him, causing him to give a startled yelp (we were roughly the same size at 5'3). I straddled his waist then, intending on giving him the same treatment he gave me. "Hahahahahahahahahahaha no stop it pleheheheheehehehehheeese Christiana~!!!" Bendy was laughing so hard as I tickled him. "Speak up can't hear you much," I chuckled, still doing it.
Bendy broke free at a sooner time then I did, and soon we entered a short tickle war after awhile, rolling around the floor. Finally, we collasped onto the floor, laughing and panting to catch our breathes. "...Bendy, thanks for that...I needed it." "No problem Chrissy, we're friends...and friends always help another.'' "You're right, they do," I smiled, rolling back onto my stomach and patting his head. "Friends do help another with their problems Bendy...I'll always help out you and Boris. No matter what the issue."
Bendy smiled, the both of us sitting up then. "Well...what should we do now?" "Well...what is Boris speaking to dad about? Do you know?" "I don't actually..."
Me and Bendy peeked at the crack of the door. Joey went somewhere else, and Boris and dad were talking to another.
"He's been acting really odd as of late Mr. Henry, no joke! He's been leaving out weird stuff and doing all sorts of crazy rituals,'' Boris said worried.
"Well Joey has always been to occult stuff...but it never works Boris, try not to panic so much about it. It's like a hobby," dad tried to pacify.
"But it's making him more unsettled and angry then usual...he threatens to cut the other's pay checks, demands some sort of offerings, and also...um, kind of...threatened to hurt Bendy and I," "...Don't worry I'll talk to him on that Boris, just take it easy. I'm sure he's just in an unsettled mood for the recent ratings...''
"But he Mr. Henry, he threatened Christiana just now too! You and I both know it was really Bendy's idea no offense, and he threatened to belt her for it!!"
It got dead quiet...and I mean dead. Quiet. "....Boris...I'm going to Joey's office a moment...stay here please..." Dad said before leaving.
Bendy and I looked at another nervously before coming out and over to Boris. "Was that...really the smartest thing to do Boris?" "Well...it was better then being dishonest...and if he didn't find out now, it would be later...and it's always worse later..."
We then heard angry talking before it esculated into shouting before dad stormed out then, heading toward me and my friends. "Christiana, come...we're going home now." "...What about Mr. Joey-" "I could care less of the asshole right now...no one threatens to belt my daughter and expect me to be cool with it. NO ONE." he looked at Bendy and Boris, softening a bit. "Sorry guys...we got to go home now...for awhile."
Both of my friends looked sad, and hugged them each. "Don't worry, we'll be back someday...I promise." Bendy gave a soft smile..."I know you will be."
(AN: Poor Christiana, not knowing what the future holds...anyway, that's the Prologue guys, next starts the real adventure!)
